The Pixel Phones are the dents in the Matrix because they offer some fantastic features and performance and innovative design at an affordable price. And the 7 series by Google, might be the best smartphone because this time it seems like they are really tightly building both their hardware and their software together to extract the most out of it.

So Here’s Everything You Need to Know About the latest Pixel smartphones.

Pixel 7 and 7 Pro: Design

The Pixel 7 and the Pixel 7 Pro very much look like the Pixel 6, though they redesigned the camera bar of the new Pixel phone, and this time both the phone comes with a metal visor instead of glass, and it just feels really well built the back panel is made of a more scratch/ dust/ water resistant glass (up to 1.5m for 30 mins).

Display

Pixel 7 comes with a 6.3-inch full HD Plus resolution of 1080 by 2400 AMOLED display and it’s going to have a 90 Hertz refresh rate it will be a flat display with HDR 10 plus and protected by Gorilla Glass vectors Plus.

On Pixel 7 Pro you will get 6.7-inch curved AMOLED display with a 120hz refresh rate with HDR 10 plus and a Quad HD Plus, resolution of 1440 x 3120 the front display is going to be protected by Gorilla Glass Victor Plus.

Chipset

Pixel 7 and 7 Pro are the first phones to be powered by Google’s second-generation Tensor G2 chip which is a 20% lower power consumption than the previous Tensor chip. And yeah, this googles new tensor G2 chip is not just about gaming only, but this chip is made to enhance the user experience.

Camera

Google’s new Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro come with advanced machine learning models for face recognition to power face unlock and like iPhone 14 it also has the Cinematic Blur.

On the rear side of both the phones, you will see a dual main camera setup of a 50-megapixel gn1 sensor for the primary wide-angle camera and then we get a 12-megapixel Sony IMX 381 for the ultra-wide-angle camera with an aperture of f/1.85.

In addition, on the 7 Pro, you will get 48 Mega Pixel (Telephoto lens with up to 30x zoom) 5x optical zoom that extends up to 30 times a proper Ultra-wide angle lens macro mode 4k 60-fps on all lenses which can be used for macro photography this pro camera is 21% wider and able to take some pretty decent macro photos and both the phones come with some cool features like Cinematic blur and of course the Magic Eraser or Photo Unblur.

It can be used to fix or refine a shaky and blurry image, and I think it is perfect for those who have a lot of out-of-focus photos saved on google Photos or drive and they want to keep them and want to fix them.

Battery

The pixel 7 comes with 20-watt fast charging which takes up to 1:30 hours to fully charge, Pixel 7 has a 4355 mAh Adaptive Battery (compared to pixel 6 which is 4,614 mAh) but don’t worry because Google’s new Tensor chip you will get much better performance and battery life than the pixel 6 and 6 Pro.

Pixel 7 pro comes with a 5000 mAh Adaptive Battery and it seems that fast charging isn’t changing either because this smartphone also delivers a 30-watt fast charge.

Software Performance

The overall performance was good but I noticed that a few times when the program hesitated or stuttered. I also encountered some interface-related bugs at first that were less common as I became more accustomed to the devices.

This issue completely disappeared after the company released software updates. The phone heats up a bit when browsing the interface or downloading files or games. But I had no issues otherwise.

The gaming performance on both phones was great. I played some of the high graphic games with ease on the default ‘High’ graphics setting, but it was even smoother and more immersive with the ‘Very High setting. The Pixel phones tend to heat up while playing games, but this didn’t noticeably affect performance.

I ran the Antutu Benchmark test and found that the Pixel Pro (google tensor g2) is about five percent behind Samsung’s latest 1st gen Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ (s22 ultra) chipset.

Should You Buy a Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro? Final Verdict

The Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro are both great smartphones. They have top-of-the-line specs, a great design, and a very user-friendly interface. The cameras on both phones have been improved and they offer a decent display with good battery life and significantly improved cameras and high-quality display with adequate battery life makes the Pixel 7 better than any other android smartphone in the market.

The only real difference between the two is the size of the display and the camera. The 7 Pro has a larger display and a better camera, but it is also more expensive.

So, if you’re looking for a great smartphone and don’t mind spending a little extra, the Pixel 7 Pro is the way to go. However, if you’re on a budget, the regular Pixel 7 is still a great choice.
